Hello, I'm Charlotte Benstine!
I’m a coach at Neurodiverse City Connection, and I’m passionate about supporting neurodivergent individuals in better understanding themselves and building a life that actually feels manageable and aligned.
Many of the people I work with feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to handle daily responsibilities in a way that works for them. They’ve often tried different strategies that just didn’t stick. I create a supportive, patient, and nonjudgmental space where we can slow things down, figure out what’s really going on, and build tools that feel realistic and sustainable.
My work is grounded in a neurodivergent-affirming, strengths-based approach. I don’t believe you need to change who you are in order to function or succeed. Instead, I focus on helping you understand how your brain works and develop strategies that support your actual day-to-day life.
A lot of the adults I work with come in feeling overwhelmed by things like starting tasks, staying organized, or following through. Together, we break things down into manageable steps, create supportive routines, and build systems that reduce stress and make life feel more doable.
I also love working with kids and teens, especially during adolescence when so much is changing. I help young clients build confidence, self-awareness, and executive functioning skills in a way that feels approachable and supportive—not overwhelming.
In addition to working with individuals, I support parents of neurodivergent children and teens. I help parents better understand their child while also taking care of themselves in the process. Parenting can be a lot, and you don’t have to figure it all out on your own. I focus on practical strategies, emotional support, and helping you feel more confident and grounded.
Executive functioning is a big focus in my work because it impacts so many areas of life. When these skills are supported, things like emotional regulation, planning, organization, and relationships often start to feel easier. When they’re not, everything can feel overwhelming very quickly.
My goal is to help you feel more capable, more confident, and more in control of your day-to-day life—while building trust in yourself and creating systems that actually work for you.

🎨 Art has always been a huge part of my identity. I love working with clay and metals. I’m currently taking a ring making class and also have my own pottery wheel at home.
🌸 Peonies and moss are my two favorite things and I enjoy walks around my neighborhood every spring/summer just to spot both.
🌿 I love all things nature, from plants and animals to landscapes, anything that reminds me how beautiful the world can be.
🐱 I share my life with Mr. Cat. He definitely lives up to the “one orange brain cell” stereotype, but there’s so much of him to love—literally, he’s huge!
🐦⬛ I’m a trinket enthusiast with a lifelong goal of befriending a crow so it will bring me little gifts to my doorstep.
🥤 I’ve never loved coffee the way everyone around me seems to, but I do adore bubble tea.
💡 With a background in occupational therapy, I bring practical tools and empathy to my life coaching practice. Being self-diagnosed neurodivergent, I love working with clients who share that understanding.
