Hello, I'm Gagan Dhaliwal!

I help people understand how their brain and body work, and then build routines and systems that make everyday life easier to manage.

Organization is one of my biggest strengths. I enjoy helping people create clear, practical systems for planning, starting tasks, managing time and keeping track of responsibilities.

As an occupational therapist (OT), I have worked with children, teens and adults, including autistic and ADHD clients, on daily routines and sensory needs. I have also managed teams of people with very different personalities and working styles. I am a wife and a mom of two young boys. These experiences taught me that there is no one right way to do things, and that good support starts with listening carefully.

What kind of clients do you work with?

I work with people of all ages, as well as the family members and partners who support them. You are welcome here if you have a diagnosis, found out later in life, or think you might be neurodivergent. I am especially helpful for people who want direct, step-by-step support with executive function, stress and daily routines, including adults starting a new role and students managing school and changing demands.

What is your coaching style like?

My style is warm, honest, organized, patient and practical. You decide how much help you want. Some people want me to help set up each step of a system, and others want someone to talk ideas through with. I also adjust each session to how you are feeling that day, so you never have to push through a plan that is not working.

What is your goal working as a neurodivergent-affirming life coach?

My goal is to help people stop blaming themselves when things feel hard. Trying harder usually does not fix the problem. What helps is understanding how stress affects your body and brain, changing your environment, and using strategies that match how your brain works.

🩰 Barre is my happy place! You’ll usually find me in a Pure Barre class 3–4 times a week, and that hour is mine.

👦👦 Being a full-time working mom to two energetic young boys is so challenging, but so rewarding!

🇨🇦 I’m Canadian! I moved to the US years ago to work, met my husband, and we settled here.

🌷 I love all things plants and flowers. In warm weather I’m out in the garden, and in colder months I’m tending my indoor plants.

💛 I have experienced anxiety myself, and it increased after I became a mom. Going through this made me a more patient and understanding coach. I know how anxiety can affect every part of life, and I bring that understanding to every session.

🛠️ I’m a practicing occupational therapist (OT), and I love getting to connect with new people in my work!
