Hello, I'm Chanel cohen!

I’m a physical therapist by background and have spent my career working with people with a wide range of abilities, personalities, and support needs. While I have not been formally diagnosed with ADHD, I’ve recognized many of the traits I see in my ADHD clients in myself, including being highly energetic and always needing to move. This personal connection has given me an even greater appreciation for understanding yourself and finding strategies that work with, rather than against, the way your brain works.

I’m passionate about helping people feel understood, supported, and confident in who they are while finding practical ways to make everyday life feel more manageable.

What kind of clients do you work with?

I enjoy working with neurodivergent individuals who want to better understand themselves, build confidence, and find strategies that actually work for them. My background as a physical therapist gave me years of experience working with children and adults with different abilities and support needs, including individuals with ADHD and autism.

I also spent several years as a CrossFit coach, working with people with different personalities, learning styles, goals, and needs. That experience reinforced how important it is to meet people where they are rather than expecting everyone to respond to the same approach.

I’m also passionate about helping neurodivergent people find enjoyable and sustainable ways to incorporate movement into their lives. For some people, movement can support focus, stress management, confidence, and overall well-being.

What is your coaching style like?

My coaching style is supportive, practical, and centered around meeting people where they are. I don’t believe people need to change who they are in order to be successful or feel like they belong.

My background as a physical therapist and coach has taught me how to break bigger challenges down into manageable steps and adjust my approach when something isn’t working. I want to understand what feels challenging, what makes sense for you, and what you’re already doing well before figuring out what strategies might help.

I believe coaching should be a judgment-free space. My goal isn’t to tell you how you should be doing things, but to work alongside you to figure out what works for you.

What is your goal working as a neurodivergent-affirming life coach?

My goal is to help people feel more confident in themselves and more capable of navigating everyday life on their own terms. I want clients to feel seen and understood while leaving our work together with practical tools they can actually use.

I believe everyone deserves to feel like they belong and that their differences don’t make them less capable.
