Neurodiverse City Connection
Neuroaffirming life coaching focused on appreciating your uniqueness

Hello, I'm Charlotte Benstine
Over the past five years, I’ve helped many neurodivergent adults strengthen their executive function skills, manage daily demands, and move through life with less stress and more self-trust.
My coaching is grounded in a neurodivergent-affirming approach that centers understanding—not masking. I believe your natural patterns, preferences, and strengths are worth honoring, not forcing into systems that don’t fit. Instead of expecting clients to “push harder,” I help them discover strategies that truly work for their brain and daily life.
Executive function is the foundation for overall calm and daily stability.
When these skills are supported, people often notice that everything else—emotional regulation, problem-solving, long-term planning, and even relationships—becomes more manageable. When executive function is overwhelmed, it’s incredibly difficult to tap into higher-level thinking or feel in control of your day. Strengthening these skills is often the first step toward feeling grounded, capable, and less stressed.
Clients often come to me when they feel stuck, disorganized, or overwhelmed by everyday tasks. Together, we break challenges into workable steps, build supportive routines, and create practical systems that make life feel lighter and more doable. My goal is to offer realistic, compassionate guidance that supports independence, reduces stress, and builds lasting self-trust.
What Is Executive Function?
Executive function refers to the mental skills that help us organize our lives, manage responsibilities, make decisions, and follow through on goals. These skills affect how we start tasks, structure our day, regulate emotions, and stay on top of daily demands.
For many neurodivergent adults, executive function challenges are not a lack of effort—they are simply part of how their brain processes information, energy, motivation, and overwhelm. Coaching offers support that aligns with each person’s neurotype and lived experience.
